Facts: 

1. When Acel was ten, his parents took him to the lab to become a trainer, however, the Froakie, Chespin, and Fennekin got into a fight with him. During this, two assistants of the professor's were unpacking parts to a new equipment from the box. The Chespin used tackle on Acel, causing him to fall, bumping into one of the assistants, the one who was holding a very sharp part, which had pierced Acel's back and as he fell to the ground, the part had slid down Acel's back, causing a long scar on his back. It has healed over time, but it will never vanish. This is why he didn't become a trainer at ten years old. 

2. Florian gave him the goggles when he was ready to head off on his new adventure. Acel promised Florian that he will become stronger. 

3. He is a very good harmonica player. He will play for his pokemon and friends whenever they feel down. 

4. Acel has placed some poke food into snack bags, so his pokemon can eat on the go

5. He will use his goggles for things like deserts. 

Story: He was born into a wealthy family. During his years of growing up, Acel's parents have always thought of him as a worthless child, due to the fact that he always messed up on everything he tried, he even messed up on becoming a trainer. They would slap him if he was doing something they thought wasn't okay, and would often tell him that he could do nothing right, that he is a humiliation to the family name. Because of this, Acel believed that he was indeed nothing and would doubt himself often on just about everything. He would often leave the castle, to wonder around the city, to get away from it all for awhile. At some point, Florian Fujiwara had spotted Acel sitting on a bench all alone, and went over to him, asking if everything is okay, and though Acel told him that he is okay, Florian knew something was wrong. After some time, he finally told Florian about his family and how he is nothing, about how he failed to be a trainer. Upset at this, Florian insisted that he should try again, and though he is very nervous, Acel agreed. The next day, the two went to the lab, only to find that the only pokemon left was a Fennekin. The Fennekin refused to go with previous starting trainers because he didn't like how much of an ego all of them had. Fennekin was, however, a little curious about Acel, and tried to see if he would be the one, but sadly, the two got into a fight. Acel had shouted for them to stop fighting suddenly. Falling to his knees with his head bowed, he told Fennekin that the only thing he wants is to prove himself to his family, but he can't even prove himself to the pokemon before him. Fennekin felt bad, then caught up to him before he left the lab, giving him a chance, and became Acel's partner. His parents, however, weren't to pleased about Fennekin, but seeing as this was a perfect chance for him to get out of their sight for awhile, they allowed him to go on a journey with his new pokemon. For the first time in a long time, Acel was finally happy, as he has a pokemon, his own partner to go on an adventure with. Before they left, Florian gave Acel a pair of violet goggles that are just like his, to show that he will always be rooting for him and Altan ((Fennekin)). With this, Acel promised him that he will get stronger. Altan and Acel became close as the days passed on. The support from his pokemon, as well as the promise he made to Florian have given him the courage to continue on his journey as a trainer. As time went by, Acel's personality changed. He became more brave and sociable. He is now more determined to reach goals that he sets. Acel became a caring person that enjoys seeing others happy. He certainly is much more happier himself. His biggest goal is to challenge his parents to a battle one day and succeed, finally proving his worth.
